Warm greetings from The Heritage Xperiential Learning School, Gurugram!
The children started from school around 6:40 a.m. and after a safe journey, reached Dagar Ji’s (Organic farmer) farm at 9.10 a.m. After freshening up and a delectable breakfast with milk, they gathered in class groups at 9:35 a.m., for a briefing about the day’s flow. Afterwards, the children had an enjoyable time plucking organic kinoos from trees on the farm.
At 11:00 a.m. the children got together for a delicious juice break, from some of the kinoos that they had plucked. The remaining kinoos would be carried home by the children. Post juice break, they went for a tour of the farm where the facilitator of the session discussed the difference between Organic, Natural and Chemical farming with the children.
Lunch will be served at 1:00 p.m. Post lunch, they will meet for a question answer session with Dagar ji, their own farmer, as well as a few conventional farmers.
After the session winds up, the children will leave the farm for school at about 3:00 p.m.
