Technology Robotics Artificial Intelligence (TRAI) Summit

Dear Parents,

With the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, it becomes imperative for us to empower our children with the awareness of coding, engineering and design thinking skills. With this view in mind, our school is organizing a TRAI Summit to allow our students the chance to leverage technology for social good.

What is it?
TRAI Summit is a two-day summit designed to empower students with the skills they require to address social challenges using emerging technologies. Students will use approaches from the fields of Technology, Robotics, and Artificial Intelligence and Design Thinking to solve real-world problems in Urban Development.

Who can attend?
It is open to every student from Grade 9 – 11. No Technical/Programming background is required. Students will be supported by Maker Instructors who will help them to deep dive into Emerging Technologies such as Robotics and Wearable Technology. Students will also work with Mentors who are experts in Social challenge studios of Water Management and Waste Management. At the Summit, students will create prototypes using Robotics and/or Wearable Technology that address their chosen Social Studio.

Why Attend?
Artificial Intelligence [AI] has been in the news a lot lately. Saudi became the first country to grant citizenship to ‘Sophia’ a Humanoid Robot. The world is yet to understand whether this is a good or a bad thing for mankind. The issue remains that only a handful of people know about AI and how it works. But it doesn’t have to remain that way. TRAI is a chance for students with no pre-requisite knowledge of programming or robotics to gain a hands-on experience on AI and other emerging technologies and to use that knowledge to create something for the benefit of society.

Date: Dec 9th & 10th 2017 (Saturday and Sunday)

Registration: Click on the provided link to register for the TRAI Summit: – bit.ly/TRAIHGGN17. Registrations are open for students in Grades 9 to 11. The registration fee is INR 2500 per participant. We can only accommodate 60 participants; hence early registrations will be given priority.
