CBSE EXAMINATION RESULTS ANNOUNCEMENT – 2018-19, GRADE XII
Dear Parent,
Year on year our students continue to astonish us with their hard work and determination. Their growth as self-directed learners, who are committed to working towards their highest potential is evident from the results of this year too.
The overall results at a glance:
- Mean average for best 4 subjects is 90.8%.
- 5 subject median score of 90.6%
- 5 subject mean average of 88.7%
- 21.2% of students have scored 95% and above
- 53.3% students have scored above 90% in 5 subjects
- Batch of 137 students with a 100% pass result
More than the absolute scores, we are extremely pleased about the fact that every child has performed to their potential.
This year we had a batch of 137 students with a 100% pass result. The batch earned a 5 subject median score of 90.6% and 5 subject mean average of 88.7%. Our mean average for best 4 subjects is 90.8%. 21.2% of students have scored 95% and above while 53.3% students have scored above 90% in 5 subjects. More than the absolute scores, we are extremely pleased about the fact that every child has performed to their potential.
This year, we have a national topper, Lavanya Balakrishnan who has topped All India in the special needs category with 97.8% in the humanities stream. We also have a district topper, Khushi Goyal, who has topped the commerce stream in the district with a score of 98.2%.
Devyani Sarin has topped the School and the Humanities stream with an average score of 99%. Khushi Goyal has topped the Commerce stream and Isha Sriperumbuduri has topped the Science stream with an average score of 97.4%. Besides this there are several perfect scores across subjects – Political Science, Fashion Studies, Sociology, History, Business Studies, Painting and Economics. Being inclusive is an ethos that we are committed to, and as we continue to cater to a larger number of students each successive year, we are being tested to stay on task. Our teachers have, each time risen to the occasion by showing belief in the students and supporting them in their work.
As a school we are committed to our student’s authentic relationship with education and learning and continue to look at examinations as just one more way of assessing progress. It is reassuring to see that our commitment to real education is also being reflected in the excellent results.
