Final Meeting on Discontinuation of routes J-9 & J-10

Dear Parents,

This is in continuation of our circular dated 20th June regarding the above mentioned subject matter. Based on the detailed discussions during the meeting held between the parent group and school today, wherein approximately 16 parents attended, we would like to apprise you of the details and the final outcome of the meeting:

School Bus facility up to NH-8: some parents residing in Sector 14 and Sector 17 have opted to use the school bus facility from Crowne Plaza Hotel/HUDA Gymkhana Club while those residing in Sector 7, Mor Chowk, Sohna Cowk have opted to use the facility from Jharsa Chowk. Those interested in this option have registered their name with the transport department. In case other parents wish to register for this option they can contact the transport manager

Hire of Private bus: The rest of the parents present have decided to hire a private bus under their own arrangement. Parents are already in advanced stages of negotiations with transporters. The school has agreed to provide the following on parents request:

The private bus being run under the aegis of the parents would be allowed inside the school premises for pick and drop of children
The class teachers will escort the children to the bus as per usual procedure
A maid hired by the parents for bus duty will be provided with a waiting area during school hours
Database of private cab users: The school has also agreed to re-send the database of students using private cabs beyond NH-8
