Khoj Update for 7A and 7D (6.12.15) Day

Dear Parents Greetings from The Heritage School, Gurgaon! Today, on the final day at the KHOJ, children woke up at 07:00 am for milk and biscuits. The morning circle was an animated gathering as children reflected on ‘the one thing they will do differently in Gurgaon to ensure the implementation of Right to Freedom for children around them and for themselves’. At 7:30 am, the children started for a final visit to the sand dunes. They returned to the camp at 9:40 am after playing in the sands and soaking in the scenic ambience through a solo time. The students have had own time between 9:40 and 11:30 am to have a hearty breakfast, bathe, and pack their bags. A visit to the Indo-Pak border has been scheduled for the children around 11:30 am. The students will be presenting their theatre campaign to the Border Security Force with the dual purpose of connecting with the brave of our country as well as taking in their feedback and inputs on the same. Lunch for the children will be packed and carried to the border. They will return to the camp by 4:00 pm and soon after they will have a Closing Circle Time before departing for the station. To ensure that the students reach the station on time, everyone will start for Bikaner station at 6:45 pm. Departure timings for train 12458 Bikaner Delhi SF Express is 10:20 pm from Bikaner. Students will get off at Gurgaon Railway station tomorrow morning. The expected arrival timing at Gurgaon Railway station is 05:13 am. As of now, the tentative pick up time from the school is 6:00 am. Please await an sms early in the morning, in case of any update.
