Subject: Subject options and criteria for Class XI
Dear Parents,
As you are aware, the school has organized an extensive career related program to bring about clarity in the minds of our students and help them make an informed decision.
Apart from an introductory session on different careers and conducting various career talks, we also wanted to inform you about the subject options that our students are likely to be offered in the next session. Below are the streams and subjects that were offered to the students of class XI for the current academic session; 2012-13. Please note that there may be some minor variations in the subject combinations in the next academic session.

We have observed in the previous batches that students with grades below A2 in Sciences and Mathematics tend to face a lot of difficulty in coping up with these subjects in classes XI and XII. The students tend to get overwhelmed by the content and demands of the syllabus and struggle to score well during the examinations.
To help our students enhance their skills and excel in the field chosen we would be following the below mentioned criteria:
· Students with A1 and A2 in Science (SA) qualify for opting for Physics and Chemistry
· Students with A1 and A2 in Mathematics (SA) qualify for opting for Mathematics
Please also note that the students performance in classes IX and X along with the results of the Aptitude Test will be taken into consideration for finalizing the subjects for Class XI.
