Class VIII : Parents Orientation Programme
Dear Parents,
The Class of VIII are the babies of the senior programme and hence the seeds of healthy habits have to be sown and nurtured here. Before breaking for the summer vacations we had a gratifying ‘samvaad’ with them and further with your able support, we together can turn the restless teens of today into responsible young adults, capable of taking onus, and charting their own independent course in life. The school continuously also facilitates meaningful dialogues and devise patterns that help habit forming, grooming and academic interests as well.
After prolonged research and consultations with eminent educational psychologists and the school’s own experienced heads we would like to initiate our students into a certain pattern of learning and behavioural habits for their own good.
Rather than talking about discipline, we’d like to inculcate responsibility in our students. These would include students following certain norms including punctuality, being presentable, responsible and truthful at home and school, to take on the onus of class work engagement, disruptive behaviour patterns, not engaging in destruction of school and personal property, lack of propriety in attendance, submission of home work and even simple tasks like bringing their own study materials among others.
To strengthen our endeavour and to help realise the true potential of our children we request your mandatory presence and participation in an orientation on Saturday 2nd July at The Meditation Center. Below are the time slots for the orientation programme:
| CLASS & SECTION | TIME SLOT |
|---|---|
| VIII A & B | 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. |
| VIII C& D | 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m |
Hope to see you.
Warm regards,
Dr Mahesh Prasad
