Khoj Update Grade 7A and 7B|Day 4
Greetings from Heritage Xperiential Learning School!
The morning, as planned started with a cup of bournvita milk and cookies. Students reflected and shared on a question in Circle Time – One new skill/habit/capacity to act that I would like to develop in the following year.
The mornings are bright and warm, though it was not so at night as temperature dropped and the winds blew. Students took precaution by wearing layers of warm clothes and it was satisfying to see that they had covered their head with caps. Teachers shared ‘Madhuvani’ with warm water for irritated throats. Students were given a blanket as well as a quilt from the camp to keep warm.
Today’s breakfast of Chole-bhature and scrambled eggs was something most students looked forward to. Being Republic Day today, there would be singing of the National Anthem as part of their celebration. This would be followed by Theatre preparation moving towards finalization, to be presented to parent co-facilitators later during the day.
An obstacle course had been planned for students as a crew-wise activity for this morning.
Students are all charged up, preparing for the campaign tomorrow. Afternoon time is meant for lunch and bathing along with some time to bond with each other which will be followed by fine tuning of the campaign by working on the feed-back of the parent co-facilitator.
