Subject: KHOJ- The Outbound Learning Expedition

Dear Parents,

We are happy to inform you that there has been an enthusiastic response for Khoj, the program for self discovery. At the same time, it appears that some children/parents have some medical/safety concerns. We would like to reassure all of you that extensive measures have been taken to ensure that each child is able to enjoy and learn from ‘Khoj’ without any anxieties.

To make sure that we cater to the individual medical needs of each child we have tied-up with Orange Cross, who will be providing the following support:

  1. There will be a nurse and also a doctor (need based) accompanying each group. They will ensure that individual medical needs, including First-Aid, are taken care of. They will also be carrying medicines. Nebulizers and disposable oxygen cylinders with them.
  2. Class Teachers will collect the medical history of each student and hand it over to the nurse/doctor accompanying that class group.
  3. These medical histories are then sorted according to the attention required and carried by the Trip anchors.
  4. Orange Cross has also tied up with the local hospitals at each of our campsites; further, air-evacuation facility will also be available, in case the need arises.

Further, 1 Teacher/Anchor will take complete responsibility for 12 students.

We look forward to your child being a part of this Enriching Experience.

Regards,
Dr. Mahesh Prasad,
Principal
